For the 60th edition of Salone del Mobile 2022, a gala dinner marked the beginning of Milan Design Week atop the iconic Santa Maria delle Grazie church, famed for housing Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper." The dinner, held outdoors in the spring weather, provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening.
Satoshi Kawamoto, with me as the project manager, curated the tablescapes for the event, infusing them with fresh plants depotted and arranged with exposed soil down the center of each table, alongside various wild foliage. This unconventional approach created a captivating and dynamic table setting, diverging from traditional, groomed arrangements.
