valentino SS 2021

The set design for Valentino's Spring/Summer 2021 collection, envisioned by designer Satoshi Kawamoto, showcased nature's resilience amidst industrial surroundings. Overseeing the project, the set featured thousands of plants and flowers from hundreds of species, creating a vibrant contrast against the concrete backdrop at Fonderie Macchi in Milan.

Despite logistical challenges of setting up fresh materials shortly before the show to prevent wilting, the project was a resounding success, propelling Kawamoto's career to new heights and leaving a lasting impression on audiences. This iconic show will be remembered in fashion show history for its innovative set design and impressive impact.
